Overzealous SUV Limo Fan

Many people hire limousines so that they can get a taste of how the other half live. We see the stars arrive at the movie premieres and awards nights in those sleek and sexy limousines and we want to pretend, even if it is only for a night, that we are stars too.

However, there is pretending and then there is actually believing and it is this belief (or suspended disbelief) of who one limo passenger thought she was which lead to a very dramatic ending to the limo ride.

In Orange County, Jeremy Vincent and Jessica Rowe hired a Hummer limousine for a night out at a Hollywood club. After a night of drinking a partying, Jessica leaped from the window of the Hummer limousine on the San Diego Freeway as an impersonation of the German rock band Rammstein.

The Hummer limousine was hired from Weddinglimo.com and Brian McMillan, the owner, said that the limo was booked by a woman who claimed to be the secretary for Rammstein. The ‘secretary’ told Weddinglimo.com that the band were doing a gig at The Standard in Hollywood and would like their limousine stocked with a bottle of Moet.

The group in the Hummer claiming to be Rammstein turned up at The Standard and began signing autographs according to the limousine chauffeur. However, the credit cards given to the limo hire company were run and found to be invalid and this is when McMillan called the police who later found Jeremy Vincent and took him to the station.

While Weddinglimo.com did not receive payment for the hire of the Hummer, McMillan does not hold any hard feelings against the group who hired his Hummer limousine. They were obviously overly obsessive fans and need help not persecution.

While it can often be fun to pretend to be a rock star for a night, it is important not to lose sight of the line between reality and fantasy.
